Meeting on the second Monday of the month at 12.30pm, lunch club provides home-made soup and desserts together with bread rolls butter and cheese to local residents for £2.50. Tea and coffee is also served as part of the lunch. After everyone has eaten, there is a short talk based on a Christian theme and also a "sing a long" - members of the Lunch Club love to sing!
Volunteers from the church run the lunch club and it takes place in the hall. Up to 40 people attend regularly. Transport is provided for those unable to get to the church under their own steam.
The lunch club is a way for the church to interact with a section of the local community, helping to strengthen it by providing the opportunity for local people to meet socially.
